The entire island is only 111 square feet, measuring about 24 miles by 6 or 7 miles on its widest girth. The Flaming Airport is located roughly at the center of the island to the South of Kralendijk. Roads connect this city to Rincon on the north lands end.

Diving site are abundant on the west side and are all marked and described in detail. Cycling routes all way around. Many suggested Kayak put in and sail boarding is suggested in Lac Bay.

Marine life is colorful and plentiful.
