Royal Robbins - Fail Falling

Robbins Royal Robbins---Fail Falling is a must for everyone. This is the continuation of Royal’s biography which is divided into a series of books that make up the collection My Life.
In this volume, Royal shares with you his experiences from 1950 to 1957, a time that marks his first serious interest in climbing, basically its shows Royal Robbins less like a legend and more like a human being full of energy, curiosity, and enthusiasm. What I personally like the most about this book, and the previous one (Royal Robbins To Be Brave) is that they are written in such a way that gives you the impression that Royal himself is narrating the story to you. In other words, Royal’s books feel more like a conversation than books. It is almost impossible not to like Royal Robbins Fail Falling. His story is not only inspiring but is also rich in details and adventure told with Royal’s characteristic sense of humor. I enjoyed so much that he combines his climbing experiences with personal stories, because even though I am not a climber myself, I still can relate to the same fears, emotions, and excitement in Royal’s narratives. After reading Royal Robbins - To Be Brave, and Royal Robbins - Fail Falling I can wait for the third book! — Lorena Martinez
